Ketaki Shetge Tambe

Smt. Ketaki Tambe is a distinguished Indian classical dance instructor and choreographer based in Mumbai. She is the founder and principal of Nritya Nikunj, a renowned dance institution established in 1996 in Borivali, Mumbai. With over three decades of experience, she has dedicated her life to the promotion and teaching of classical dance forms, particularly Odissi and Bharatanatyam.​

Ketaki Tambe is a Visharad in Odissi, having earned her certification from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya,is also a Graded Artist of Door Darshan. She received her training under the guidance of Guru Smt. Jhelum Paranjape, a renowned figure in the Odissi . Her expertise and commitment have made her a prominent figure in the world of classical dance

At Nritya Nikunj, she conducts classes for various age groups, offering both weekday and weekend sessions. The institute provides a structured six-year course in classical dance, culminating in an annual program that showcases the students' progress and achievements. Under her mentorship, many students have gone on to perform at national and international platforms, reflecting the high standards of training imparted at the institution.​

Dilip Tambe

Shri Dilip Tambe is a respected figure in the Indian classical dance community, serving as a co-founder and senior instructor at Nritya Nikunj, a prominent dance institution located in Borivali West, Mumbai. Established in 1996 alongside his wife, Smt. Ketaki Tambe, the school specializes in training students in Odissi and Bharatanatyam dance forms. Both Dilip and Ketaki Tambe are disciples of the esteemed Guru Smt. Jhelum Paranjape, reflecting their deep-rooted commitment to classical dance traditions.

Beyond his teaching endeavors, Dilip Tambe has actively participated in various dance performances and collaborations. Notably, he performed the tandava aspect in a production by Smitalay, showcasing his versatility and dedication to the art form. His involvement in such performances underscores his commitment to both preserving and innovating within the realm of classical dance.​
